Bushmills Irish Whiskey has released the second round of its Private Reserve Limited Release series. Consisting of four vintage single malt whiskeys with various experimental cask finishes, the whiskeys showcase the versatility of Bushmills’ single malt.
Bushmills Private Reserves Collection is now available to purchase through various retailers, bars and restaurants, and online retailers with prices ranging from $59.99 to $74.99.
Bushmills Private Reserve Collection Second Release
The new whiskeys are the work of Bushmills’ Master Blender, Alex Thomas, the first woman to hold the title for Bushmills. Thomas carefully chose some mature casks of Bushmills single malt Irish whiskey for finishing in hand-selected wine and tequila casks.

READ THE STORYEach whiskey was distilled from 100% unpeated malted barley, triple distilled in small batches, non-chill filtered, and bottled at a higher ABV than Bushmills core range whiskeys. The Private Reserve Collection boasts two different age statements and three different vintages. They are as follows:
“Warm Copper in color, on the nose it boasts distinct rich dark fruits mingled with cinnamon and warming vanilla, with notes of ripe cherry, blackberry, damson and plum mingled with caramelised sugar, chocolate and gentle oak note finished by a mellow rich ripe fruit and a long, dry finish”
“Uniquely Rose Gold in color, on the nose one can get gentle floral notes from this whiskey, followed by carmelized sugar and orange blossom. On the palate is jam sweetness, hints of vanilla developing into ripe mandarin orange, peach and apricots with just a touch of citrus note, finally rounding out with a sweet and fruity, slightly dry, long finish”

The Inaugural Release
The second Private Reserve collection follows the successful debut of the Private Reserve series in December 2023, which featured Plum Brandy, Bordeaux, Burgundy, and Tequila Cask finishes.
