Tasting Notes

About:

Appearance:
Nose:
Palate:
A full-bodied mix of vanilla, dark caramel, hazelnut, apple, fruit and spices Finish: Long and creamy with lingering hints of honeyed apple My tasting notes Color: Dark amber Nose: Caramel, smoky oak, figs, vanilla and almond Pallet: Velvety texture, oak, caramel, spice, smooth and balanced Finish: Spice, medium long, smoky oak Total Score: 87 This is fine bourbon as it is soft and mellow, and can stand apart from the crowd, but at $40-$45 per bottle, I expected something that was going to wow me. I think I like the normal Woodford Reserve better. This is best suited to folks who are new to the bourbon scene and want a nice mellow bourbon, or on those late nights sitting around a fire pit talking with close friends.
Finish:
