Scotch whisky continues to set a global standard for quality and character. From the windswept coasts of Islay to the gentle glens of Speyside, Scotland’s distilleries put forward a strong showing at the 2025 New York World Spirits Competition.
Judged blind by a panel of seasoned experts, the Scotch entries highlighted both innovation and tradition. Whether it was a peated dram aged in sherry wood or a soft, fruit-forward Highland malt, the breadth of styles was a reminder of why Scotch holds such enduring appeal.
This list includes every Scotch whisky that earned recognition this year—an essential guide for anyone looking to explore award-winning single malts and blends from one of whisky’s most storied nations.
