Every Award-Winning Bourbon From The San Francisco World Spirits Competition 2026

Few accolades carry as much weight in the spirits business as a win at the San Francisco World Spirits Competition (SFWSC). Widely regarded as the Oscars of the drinks world, it has been staged annually since 2000 under The Tasting Alliance, growing into the oldest and largest blind spirits competition on the planet. For the distilleries that enter, a medal is a badge of quality that resonates with buyers and drinkers alike.

The credibility comes down to how the judging is done. Every entry is tasted blind, flighted against comparable styles, and assessed purely on what’s in the glass. From there, spirits earn Bronze, Silver, or Gold; a Gold backed unanimously by every judge on the panel becomes a Double Gold. Platinum sits at the very top, reserved for the rare few that secure Double Gold three years running.

Double Gold winners alone move on to the sweepstakes round, where the best entry in each category takes Best of Class, and a single standout is crowned Best in Show.

Below, we’ve rounded up every award-winning bourbon from the 2026 competition in one table. Stay with The Whiskey Wash for more from “the Oscars of the spirit world.”
