All Small Batch Single Malt Scotch Whisky Winners From The World Whiskies Awards 2026

The World Whiskies Awards 2026 Scotland heat highlighted the growing importance of Small Batch Single Malt Scotch whisky, a category that sits between consistency and experimentation.

This year’s results bring together established distilleries and newer producers using limited batch releases to explore flavour, cask influence, and house style. Gold medals were awarded across multiple subcategories, with standout wins for Blair Athol and Caol Ila in the 13 to 20 Years category, alongside category-topping releases from Glasgow 1770 and Spey. Modern producers such as Nc’nean also feature strongly among the medal winners.

As with all Scotland heat results, only the Gold medallists advance to the global judging round, where they will compete for the World’s Best titles in March 2026.
