All Indian Whisky Winners From The International Spirits Challenge 2026

Indian whisky cut a curious figure at this year’s International Spirits Challenge. While the category has been one of the most talked-about in the global whisky conversation in recent years, the 2026 results tell a more restrained story. Not a single Indian whisky took home a Gold or Double Gold medal, with every winner landing at either Silver or Bronze. Equally striking is the roll call of names that didn’t appear at all, with several of the producers you might most expect to see among the winners absent from the list entirely.

Now in its 31st year, the International Spirits Challenge is judged blind by panels of distillers, blenders and buyers, with medals awarded at four levels: Bronze, Silver, Gold and Double Gold.

The full list of 2026 Indian whisky winners is set out below, and we’d love to hear what you make of it. Do you agree with the panel’s verdict, or are there names you’re surprised to see missing? Let us know in the comments.
