What Is Inside Johnnie Walker Green Label 15 Year Old
Green Label is a blended malt rather than a standard blend. It contains no grain whisky, which makes it the only all-malt bottle in the core Johnnie Walker range. The whisky is built around four named single malts, Talisker, Linkwood, Cragganmore and Caol Ila, all aged for a minimum of fifteen years, drawing on Skye, Islay and Speyside. It runs to 43% ABV in a 70cl bottle. The expression launched as Pure Malt in 1997 and took the Green Label name in 2004.

At the 2022 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, Johnnie Walker Green Label took Double Gold, and it followed with Gold the next year. The nose offers cut grass and orchard fruit, the palate brings wood smoke and pepper, and the finish settles into vanilla and oak.
