Independent bottler Spencer Collings released this single cask Caol Ila 2012 to mark the 50th anniversary of its founder, Mike Collings, working in the whisky industry. The Caol Ila was aged in a custom-made Marsala cask constructed from two types of oak, American ex-bourbon and French new oak. Bottled at a cask strength of 57.3%, with natural colour and no chill filtration, the cask yielded 261 bottles.
