Nc’nean Brings Cask Strength Expression to U.S. Market

Scottish organic whisky distillery Nc’nean is expanding its American presence with the launch of a cask strength expression, responding to growing consumer demand across the United States. The release marks a significant milestone for the pioneering distillery, which has seen strong reception since entering the U.S. market in late 2023.

The new cask strength offering delivers Nc’nean’s signature organic single malt in its most natural form, bottled at approximately 59% ABV. This represents a notable step up from the distillery’s flagship expression, offering consumers a more intense whisky experience whilst maintaining the brand’s characteristic light and fruity profile.

“I’m really excited to be adding a cask strength whisky to our flagship range,” said Annabel Thomas, founder of Nc’nean. “When this expression was previously bottled exclusively for some of our fans in Germany, we received such an enthusiastic response about the fruitiness and spice that the higher alcohol strength brings to our signature whisky. The cask strength expression will be available in liquor stores across 25 states, with online delivery extending to 44 states through ncnean-usa.com. The whisky carries a recommended retail price of $99.99 and will begin rolling out from June 2025.
