The Balblair Distillery, originally founded in 1790, exists within the Highlands region of Scotland. It is noted for its unique bottle design and continually using the same water source for its distillation process. It is getting set now to release three new Scotch vintages in travel retail stores this month.All three expressions are said to be non-chill filtered and put into bottle at 46% ABV. Tasting notes from the distillery, as reported by Moodie Report, indicate the 2004 bourbon has “notes of citrus fruits combined with the sweetness of vanilla, coconut and honey,” while the 1999 offering has “a rich spiciness and sweet toffee.”
Price wise, expect to pay around $90 for the 1999 release, while the 2004 bourbon will hit at $75 and the 2004 sherry at around $83.
