Vintage Bottlers Ltd is an independent Scotch whisky bottler and brand creator, specialising in sourcing, developing and bringing exceptional whisky to market. Based in London and part of the wider Vintage Whisky Group, the company combines deep industry relationships with access to an extensive portfolio of rare and sought-after casks.
Vintage Bottlers produces its own range of premium single cask, single malt and blended whiskies, from accessible releases through to highly aged and collectible expressions. Its expertise also extends to bespoke whisky projects, working with private clients, retailers, hospitality groups and international partners to source casks, develop brands, design packaging and bring finished products to market.
With a growing international distribution network, Vintage Bottlers is built around a simple principle: finding exceptional whisky, creating compelling brands, and connecting with the right customers and markets. The company has established an award-winning reputation for quality, sourcing and innovation and is two months away from launching an entirely new Scotch brand

- What's in the Bottle
What kind(s) of whisky do you bottle, and what can a newcomer expect from your flavor profile?
We have historically bottled old, rare and nearly always single cask whiskies at cask strength. We try and keep the whiskies in their purest forms and have bottled Macallan and Laphroaig through to Glen Scotia and Isle of Arran and try to maintain a balance offering across at least three regions.
- Wood & Maturation
Where do your casks mature, and how much control do you have during maturation?
Nearly all of our casks now mature at our bonded warehouse in Campbeltown, Campbeltown Bond which lies only a few hundred metres from the Atlantic Ocean
- Brand Ethos
Where do you stand on the spectrum of transparency? Do you proudly name the source distilleries, or do you embrace the “mystery” of undisclosed bottlings?
Where possible we try to bottle whiskies where we can proudly name the source distillery. However, our Secret Series is a range of whiskies where we have kept the location a secret – only tasting them will reveal their heritage.

Is value-for-money a core metric when you are deciding which casks to buy and bottle?
Moving forward our aim is to ensure that all our whisky is priced fairly so that our customers have a good choice subject to their own needs and desires.
Why We Built This Directory
Every listing in The Whiskey Wash directory of independent bottlers is free and non-commercial. No bottler pays to be included, and nobody can pay for a better spot.
We built it because we love whisky, and independent bottlers are some of the most interesting people in it. They find the casks distilleries never release themselves, take chances on unusual finishes and keep the names of lost distilleries on the shelf.
Nothing like it has existed since ScotchWhisky.com closed. This is our attempt to fill that gap and introduce drinkers to the people behind the casks.
