Through The Whiskey Wash, buyers have the opportunity to own a barrel outright at the warehouse level, with the ability to draw full-size samples and bottle multiple releases as the whiskey matures.

Barrel owners can also visit their cask at the stunning warehouse, experiencing its evolution firsthand. Every step of the process is built on a foundation of clear, education-led guidance, ensuring a transparent and rewarding experience.

As well as regularly contributing to The Whiskey Wash, he also writes for Forbes.com as a contributor and regularly publishes videos on his popular YouTube channel.

Mark has been campaigning for and providing education and awareness around whiskey barrels since 2018. His work also includes ProtectYourCask.com and has appeared in The Observer, The Telegraph, The Daily Mail and on BBC Radio Four.

Hannah Thompson

Hannah is a whiskey investment educator who helps consumers understand everything they need to know to make an informed decision about whiskey investment. She has been working in the secondary whiskey market since 2019 and joined The Whiskey Wash team when Mark Littler took over as Editor in Chief.

Working with Mark Littler to demystify the cask buying and selling process Hannah has amassed a broad range of whiskey knowledge and specializes in helping consumers make education driven purchases. Hannah has authored two published works of fiction and her background in research and creative writing lets her create interesting and informative articles to give people a solid understanding of the world of whiskey.
