Patrick Girard is a freelance consultant specializing in wines and spirits. Prior to this, he served as an R&D project leader at Pernod Ricard for nearly a decade, where his focus was on developing innovative distilled spirit prototypes, encompassing both cereal-based and grape-based spirits. Dr. Girard holds a PhD in Microbiology and possesses expertise in distilling yeast genetics and physiology, as well as distilling strain development.
