We here at The Whiskey Wash are extremely proud to bring you the first episode ever of our reoccurring flagship podcast. The Whiskey Wash Podcast has been something we’ve been laboring on for a bit and represents the first in a range of coming announcements tied to the expansion of our brand which I alluded to during my 2016 year end note.
To enjoy our podcast you can either listen to it via the embedded player at the end of this article or subscribe to it in iTunes. The format of our podcast will usually focus upon Jeff and I talking a bit about some of the latest whiskey happenings, followed by an insightful interview with someone in the industry. We will then circle back to more discussion around a particular whiskey topic on our mind at the moment, which may also include bringing in another of our team members for additional discussion.
As our podcast evolves we will be looking to publish episodes ever other week, so make sure to stay subscribed to get the very latest. We will be adding other audio platforms for our podcast soon also, and will announce those as new episodes debut!
For this first episode we introduce ourselves and talk about what the podcast will be about. I than go in-depth in an interview with Alex Conyngham of Slane Whiskey on site at the historic Slane Castle in Ireland about his emerging Irish whiskey brand which is backed by Brown-Forman (note this came about as the result of a media trip put together and paid for by Brown-Forman. While appreciative of this, The Whiskey Wash retained full editorial control of related content). We then finish out paying tribute to Parker Beam.
