The new Tullamore D.E.W. Trilogy 15 Year Old, bottled at 40% ABV, is triple distilled, triple blend whiskey which was aged in a combination of traditional refill, ex-bourbon and ex-Oloroso sherry casks before being finished in special ex-rum casks. It is said to be by the first time this brand has used rum barrels in such a way.
“Tullamore D.E.W Trilogy is inspired by the wisdom passed down through three generations of the Williams family, a family that passionately honed the three unique crafts of distillation, blending and maturation in finest oak,” said John Quinn, Global Brand Ambassador for Tullamore D.E.W., in a statement. “Through this, we celebrate our heritage of true craftsmanship and continued commitment to perfection.”
Price wise, expect to pay around €90, or about $100 USD, for a bottle of this Irish whiskey as it makes its global debut starting this month.
