Teeling Revival A 15 Year Old Irish Whiskey For Celebrating

Besides its regular stable of non-age statement single malt and single grain whiskies, Ireland’s Teeling Whiskey also dips into rarer stocks of already-distilled Irish whiskey for its Vintage Reserve Collection. This older lineup of bottlings, which we first highlighted last year, has included 26 and 30 year old expressions. Now Teeling is getting ready to add some more offerings to this line, starting first with something called Revival.

Teeling Revival, according to the distillery, is a 15 year old Irish single malt that was matured entirely in ex-rum casks after being distilled in 1999. It was bottled as a special commemorative expression to mark the opening of the company’s new Dublin distilling facility earlier this year.

Teeling Revival

Limited to just 10,000 bottles, Revival clocks in at 46% ABV and is non-chill filtered. It is set to price at €100 ($107 USD) should you want to try and find a bottle to order through an online retailer. Besides Ireland it will also be available in the UK, France, Germany, Belgium, Holland, Italy and Australia.

Looking beyond Revival, Teeling has plans for two new additions to the Vintage Reserve lineup: small batch releases of 24 and 33 year old Irish whiskies. No more information is available as of yet on when they might come out, or how much they will cost.
