Jameson Irish Whiskey recently debuted its first-ever U.S. ready-to-drink offering, Jameson Ginger & Lime.
Whiskey-based, ready-to-drink cocktails make up a large chunk of the ready-to-drink category growth in recent years.
This new carbonated cocktail in a can is made with Jameson’s triple-distilled Irish whiskey and comes in a four-pack, just in time for St. Patrick’s Day. Joining the whiskey is natural ginger and lime flavors.

“The Jameson Ginger & Lime ready-to-drink cocktail was inspired by one of our all-time fan-favorite recipes,” said Kate Pomeroy, Head of Innovation at Pernod Ricard North America, in a prepared statement. “Our goal was simple … to create a cocktail experience that’s easy and delicious.”
The canned cocktail has an ABV of 6% and is now available at retailers nationwide as a 4-pack of 12oz cans for a suggested retail price of $14.99.
“We’re exceptionally excited to announce this new offering just in time for St. Patrick’s Day,” said Sona Bajaria, vice president of marketing for Jameson. “The past two years have underscored the mandate to provide consumers with quality products in a convenient way. With 9 out of 10 consumers interested in purchasing a Jameson Ginger & Lime ready-to-drink, this expansion was a natural next step.”
This debut follows the release Jameson Orange, which first hit U.S. shelves in January. Made with their triple-distilled Irish Whiskey and natural orange flavor, Jameson Orange has an ABV of 30% and brings what’s described as a whiskey-forward liquid with a subtle sweetness, something different for the growing flavored spirits category.
