
Prior to bottling, the whiskey was matured in virgin American white oak casks with level #4 char. The cask heads were charred separately, to level #2.Â
The resulting tasting notes include “gentle spiciness and sweet oak aromas” on the nose. The palate is “smooth with tones of maple, oak, and nutmeg.” The finish is “long, dry and satiny with light toffee flavor but with deepened oak notes.”Â
