New Whiskey Named After Alan Jackson Hit Song

Country music legend Alan Jackson’s Silverbelly Whiskey label recently unveiled its newest batch, “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow.”

The new expression is named after the artist’s chart-topping 1990 hit.

A statement from the whiskey brand noted that bottles of the new whiskey are available for pre-order online, and they’ll start shipping out to stores in April.

Jackson’s Silverbelly Whiskey is named after the color of Jackson’s signature Stetson hat. Silverbelly’s whiskey is distilled in partnership with Silver Screen Bottling Co. and DSP-KY-10.

Their whiskey employs a unique batch numbering system, celebrating Jackson’s iconic career, as each new batch is named after one of his country songs in chronological order.

“Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow” follows in the footsteps of Silverbelly Whiskey’s first two batch releases, of course named after Jackson’s hit songs “Here In The Real World” and “Wanted.”

Silverbelly Whiskey “Chasin’ That Neon Rainbow” clocks in at 91 proof, or 45.5% ABV. The distiller’s notes show that on the nose, it features aromas of brown sugar, sweet apple, cherry, and honey. It tastes of fall fruits with a silky texture on the mid-palate and caramelized oak tones that are met with a savory wood spice on the finish.

Silverbelly Whiskey is available at retail stores in 19 states, and will be available nationwide soon. To find out more or to get a bottle, check out www.silverbellywhiskey.com.
