Veteran-owned Hotel Tango Distillery recently launched its ‘Shmallow Toasted Marshmallow Bourbon.
In a statement from the distiller, they described the new bourbon as tasting of caramelized sugar and smoke. It is also noted as technically being a distilled spirit speciality versus a normal bourbon.
“As the flavored whiskey category continues to grow, we wanted to create a spirit that was as approachable as it is adaptable,” said Travis Barnes, Hotel Tango Distillery founder and CEO. “’Shmallow is our off-duty take on bourbon. Distilled with the same discipline as all our spirits, bourbon enthusiasts will appreciate ‘Shmallow’s sweet-but-not-too-sweet flavor profile, while rookie bourbon drinkers will want to sip it on its own or with their favorite mixer.”
The makers put together this new spirit with bourbon-forward cocktails in mind, such as Hotel Tango’s S’more Old Fashioned.
The 60-proof ‘Shmallow bourbon is available now online at the Hotel Tango web site and at select retailers nationwide for a suggested retail price of $24.99 per 750ml bottle.
