GLACIER45 Distillery Partners With Carroll Shelby Licensing For New Spirit Releases

GLACIER45 Distillery out of Oregon recently entered into a license agreement with Carroll Shelby Licensing to create Carroll Shelby Collectible Spirits.

The new line includes a Premium Carroll Shelby Bourbon Whiskey and Carroll Shelby Vodka packaged in a collectible bottle, each with its own number.

“Carroll Shelby has ascended from automotive icon to pop culture legend,” CEO of GLACIER45 Distillery Ryan Chaves said in a prepared statement. “His legacy as an automotive designer, race car driver, entrepreneur and author has created a massive fandom over the past six decades. GLACIER45 Distillery received a license from the company that he founded to give all those fans another way to celebrate Carroll Shelby through a line of premium spirits that reflect his passion for performance. Distribution continues to grow across the Western United States as word spreads about these collectible bottles.”

The Carroll Shelby Bourbon Whiskey is described as special twist on the distillery’s bourbon recipe, being specially made to be 98 proof as the number 98 was Shelby’s personal racing number used on multiple race cars that he drove and built over the years. The Carroll Shelby Vodka is 80 proof Vodka is distilled with non-GMO/Kosher corn, making it naturally gluten-free, as well as gravity-fed extensively.

With a limited release of only 2,000 of the Carroll Shelby Bourbon and 3,000 of the Carroll Shelby Vodka available, the bottlings are sold exclusively in-store at the GLACIER45 Distillery in Oregon, 10 Lee’s Liquors locations in Las Vegas, and Vendome Wine & Spirits in California. The Carroll Shelby spirit collection can be shipped within California only by Vendome Wine & Spirits-Toluca Lake, California.
