Bombs And Bourbon Come Together In Two Different Whiskey Cabinets

bomb-cabinetBombs and bourbon…hmmm. Not sure on mixing the two in real life, but if you are looking for some, shall we say, unique ways to store your whiskey, two bomb inspired ideas surfaced on our radar recently for your consideration.

Number one is the Bomb Drink Cabinet, found via Bourbon & Oak, which is apparently a reclaimed practice bomb. This mother of all whiskey cabinets stands over eight feet tall and weighs a hefty 600 pounds. Three glass shelves on the interior rotate around a gold-plated spindle and, at the base, you can conceal in a sliding American walnut platform your cocktail utensils. There’s no mention of price, but I’m going to guess after you buy one these bottom shelf whiskey won’t be what you are stocking in it.

Joining this mirror polished metal piece of furniture is the much more approachable Bomb Bar. Found by Uncrate, the Bomb Bar has a rough ammunition crate exterior which opens into the perfect storage compartment for your bourbon. You can stuff quite a few bottles and glasses into this ammo box, and there’s even some leather straps that hold the lid open nicely. This one prices around $700 CAD ($555 USD).
