Old Dominick Introduces Its Tennessee Whiskey To Five States

The Old Dominick brand recently released its straight Tennessee whiskey in five states, with two more to come.

A statement from Old Dominick notes that you’ll be able to find their whiskey in Tennessee, Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi and Illinois and soon in Wisconsin and Georgia.

The announcement of the regional release also noted that Old Dominick will be celebrating with the Tennessee Whiskey Roadshow, where it will be doing pop-up tastings and bottle signings with Master Distiller Alex Castle across the state of Tennessee.

The Old Dominick team will be on the road April 10-13, making stops in Nashville, Chattanooga and Knoxville. They will be touting their whiskeys, and have offered more details on the expressions:

Old Dominick Straight Tennessee Whiskey – This whiskey is aged for 4-6 years in American white oak barrels. The mash bill is 75% corn, 13% rye, 12% malted barley, and is bottled at 85 proof.

Old Dominick Bottled-in-Bond Tennessee Whiskey Batch #3 and #4 – Batch #3 will be released in Tennessee only and Batch #4 will be available in Missouri, Arkansas, Mississippi and Illinois. The mash bill is 75% corn, 13% rye, 12% malted barley, and the proof is 100. They are produced according to the legal regulations of the Bottled-in-Bond Act of 1897.

The whiskeys range in price from $36.99-$69.99.

Old Dominick, based in Memphis, was originally established in 1866 by Domenico Canale. Fifth-generation grandsons Chris and Alex Canale opened the reimagined distillery in the heart of downtown Memphis in May of 2017.
