American Lifestyle By Nino Kilgore-Marchetti / June 4, 2020 Ready to drink (RTD) cocktails are a rising segment in the line ups of whiskey distilleries large and small. A way to enjoy a chilled drink with a touch of whiskey in it in a simple fashion, it is seen by a good number of consumers, particularly amongst the younger set, as a convenient way to have a cocktail. Sales reflect positive trends in this category, with it being mentioned that annual sales are upwards of $62 million. It thus makes sense one would see larger and well established whiskey brands such as Jack Daniel’s moving to get in on the game. It has just introduced to the American market, in time for summer, its new Jack Daniel’s Canned Cocktails series, consisting of three different offerings: Jack & Seltzer; Jack & Cola; and Jack, Honey & Lemonade.
