Freddie Noe’s Little Book Whiskey series continues with the eighth generation master distiller’s Little Book Chapter 6: “To The Finish.”

In a statement from the whiskey maker, it’s noted that the name of this year’s chapter is inspired by Freddie’s passion for both whiskey-making and cooking, and specifically his curiosity for how flavors come together.

In a prepared statement, Freddie explained that the kitchen was always a place where the Noe family came together to share traditions from generation to generation.

It’s these traditions around family meals, and Freddie’s adventures around the grill, that inspired his work in the rackhouse for Little Book’s Chapter 6.

To make this expression, they used the traditional method of smoking hardwoods to create different aromas and flavors in food, and applied the same method to the whiskey-making process. The distiller used unique wood staves and barrel techniques for Chapter 6.

Little Book Chapter 6: “To The Finish” is the blend of five different liquids using different wood staves and barrel techniques in its secondary aging of the cask strength whiskey.

The new whiskey is now available nationwide in limited quantities and has a suggested retail price of $124.99 for a 750mL bottle.

The annual, limited-release series Little Book is named as a nod to Freddie’s childhood nickname, given to him by his family for the qualities he shared with his granddad, Master Distiller Booker Noe.

Since joining the Fred B. Noe Distillery team in 2013, Freddie has performed nearly every job learning alongside his dad, Fred Noe. After working in research and development, Freddie noted, he discovered his fascination with blending, which eventually became his full-blown passion.

And soon after, Little Book was born in 2017 with its inaugural blend.
