What happens when a WWII naval depot transforms into Scotland’s largest independent whisky warehouse? Royal Elizabeth Bond’s 50-acre facility is rewriting the rules.
The 117 Series is a limited expression lineup that first came out in Spring 2021. Old Forester is a double barreled bourbon in Old Forester’s Whiskey Row Series. The Extra Old release was left for 24 months in a heavily charred secondary barrel for a very long finish. It features a mash bill of 72% corn, 18% rye, and 10% malted barley, and is bottled at a barrel strength of 46.5% ABV.
