William Grant & Sons Opens Luxury Retail Space at Seoul Incheon Airport

The new space aims to enhance travelers’ experiences by offering rare and exclusive single malt scotch whiskies.

William Grant & Sons, owners of brands such as The Glenfiddich and The Balvenie, has recently unveiled a luxury retail space in Seoul Incheon Airport. The new space aims to enhance travelers’ experiences by offering rare and exclusive single malt scotch whiskies. 

Located in the duty-free section of Incheon Airport, the retail space is bright and welcoming. In addition, the space incorporates “elements of Korean culture and crafts to provide a sophisticated sense of place”.

In the center of the store is an activation podium displaying some of the rare whiskies available. The whiskies displayed on the podium will be regularly changed to bring customers the most up-to-date and luxurious experience. 

Amongst the whiskies on offer from Glenfiddich are The Perpetual Collection, The Grand Series, and The Time Re:Imagined Collection. From The Balvenie, The Cask Finishes, The Rare Marriages, and The Stories Collections will be purchasable. 

The William Grant & Sons retail space is also offering a unique gifting experience. Korean charms and personalized engraving are being offered at the gifting podium bar. As such, travelers can pick up a rare whisky for a loved one and customize the gift to their liking.

The in-store Brand Ambassadors will be on hand for guidance, allowing shoppers to experience the full range of whiskies and experiences available at the store. 

Of the brand’s newest endeavor, Head of Brand Marketing for William Grant & Sons GTR, Gwilym Cooke said: “We are pleased to collaborate with Shinsegae Duty-Free to create this exciting retail concept which showcases the full range of our iconic Glenfiddich and The Balvenie brands and provides discerning travelers with an enhanced shopping experience, including travel retail exclusive liquids and bespoke gifting opportunities.”
