Specialist retailer The Whisky Exchange has unveiled its new Zodiac Series, a collection of 12 single cask Scotch whiskies inspired by astrological signs. The first four expressions—representing Pisces, Aries, Taurus, and Gemini—were released today (February 2, 2026) and were selected by the retailer’s buying team.
This new collection follows the positive reception of the company’s previous ‘The Season’s Series’ of whiskies.
The Zodiac Series was curated by The Whisky Exchange’s buying director, Dawn Davies, and own-label product manager, Chris Bolton.
Each whisky was chosen for its quality and its ability to reflect the attributes associated with its corresponding star sign.
The full series will be launched in three separate sets, with each containing an air, water, earth, and fire sign. The bottle labels feature artwork created by Jenna Morse of The Whisky Exchange design team.
The first release begins with Pisces (19 February-20 March), represented by a 10-year-old single cask from coastal Highland distillery Glenglassaugh. It is bottled at 55.4% ABV and retails for £87.95 (~US$120).

Official notes from the brand state it has “a touch of sea spray, all wrapped with fresh and dried fruit, and a gentle spice, thanks to its maturation in second-fill oloroso sherry casks.”
For Aries (21 March-19 April), the retailer selected a 12-year-old peated Bunnahabhain, also known as Staoisha. The Islay single malt has an ABV of 53.7% and a price of £105 (~US$143).
The brand described the whisky as a bottling that “barrels forward like its namesake ram, bursting with purpose and flavor,” with notes of “smoky bacon and burning grass” diving into “orchard fruit and spice.”
The Taurus release is a five-year-old whisky from the Speyside distillery Dailuaine, a workhorse producer primarily known for its contributions to blends. Those with the Taurus star sign are born between 20 April and 20 May. The whisky is bottled at a cask strength of 61% ABV and is priced at £54.95 (~US$75).
According to the brand, the expression is “rich and layered, with sweet toffees and caramels complemented by roasted nuts, warm vanilla and slowly unfolding orchard fruit.”
The final whisky in the initial launch represents Gemini (21 May-20 June): a 16-year-old single malt from the peated Highland distillery Ardmore. It has an ABV of 50.4% and will sell for £79.95 (~US$110).
The brand’s notes highlight the whisky’s dual nature, with “bright citrus and orchard fruit” sitting alongside “malty biscuits and rich, fragrant smoke, contrasting and complementing each other.”
All four whiskies are available now exclusively from The Whisky Exchange website and its London stores.
The remaining eight whiskies in The Zodiac Series will be released in two further installments over the coming year.
