Seven rare bottles from Scotland to Korea will debut at October’s whisky event, with prices ranging from £87.95 to £410.

The Whisky Exchange has revealed its lineup of seven exclusive bottlings for The Whisky Show 2025, featuring the company’s first-ever release selected by an external curator. The limited-edition whiskies span four countries and will make their debut at the October 3-5 event before becoming available online and in-store from October 8.

Whisky author Dave Broom has chosen the Irish release for this year’s collection, a first for The Whisky Exchange. The Boann 2021 Oloroso Hogshead represents one of 318 bottles available at £110, featuring what official tasting notes describe as “cut grass, citrus zest, tinned fruits and pineapple cubes.”

The Whisky Exchange Expands Asian Offerings for Whisky Show 2025

The collection includes two highly anticipated Asian whiskies.

From Japan, the Kanosuke 2019 5 Year Old Bourbon Cask, bottled with The Heart Cut, offers just 150 bottles at £100. According to official tasting notes, the whisky presents “toasted marshmallows, honeycomb and black tea on the nose, with bright lemon verbena and ripe apricots on the palate.”

Korea’s Ki One distillery makes its international exclusive debut with a 2021 Single Cask release. The 243-bottle run, priced at £94.95, marks the first time Ki One has bottled whisky for anyone outside the distillery. Official notes indicate “herbal spiciness with brown sugar, maple and fruit leather.”

Scottish Distilleries Dominate Whisky Show 2025 Exclusives

Four Scottish whiskies round out the collection, led by a rare 33-year-old Benrinnes from 1992. The Gleann Mor Rare Find bottling commands the highest price at £410 for one of 201 bottles. Official tasting notes reference “warming apple pie and custard with a little green apple for balance.”

Tormore contributes one of its first single cask exclusives since Elixir Distillers acquired the distillery in 2022. The 2009 Legacy release offers 210 bottles at £105. A collaboration between The Whisky Exchange and independent bottler Adelphi brings a 13-year-old Benriach finished in Pedro Ximinez sherry casks, available for £89.95.

Glen Scotia provides an unusual heavily peated expression from Campbeltown, with 226 bottles priced at £87.95. The official notes describe “soft, grassy smoke on the nose with rich earth, green leaves and hints of milk chocolate.”

The Whisky Show will take place October 3-5, with tickets available through The Whisky Exchange website. Previous years have seen many exclusive releases sell out during the event weekend.
