The Macallan has revealed yet another luxurious addition to its 200th Anniversary Celebration roster: The Macallan Villa, a mansion in the hills of sunny Los Angeles, California.
The Macallan Villa
The sleek and stunning villa features huge windows that beckon in the California sun. Modern concrete overhangs, bars, cozy living rooms, and a branded infinity pool reflect the luxury nature of The Macallan brand, as well as the typical architectural style of luxury homes in Los Angeles. As, of course, do the many bottles of Macallan scotch whisky that can be found throughout the villa.
The Macallan has also enlisted Chef Chris Sayegh to create unique menus that merge Scottish tradition with sustainable local produce, showcasing the brand’s culinary expertise. At The Macallan Villa, guests can enjoy a curated cocktail menu that reflects the brand’s modern, approachable identity, drawing inspiration from both the Speyside estate and Southern California’s distinctive terroir.
The Macallan Whisky
It is thought that The Macallan will use the villa at the forefront of celebrations surrounding the recent Harmony Collection bottling: Amber Meadow, which was created in collaboration with Stella and Mary McCartney.
There is also talk that The Macallan Villa will also spotlight The Colour Collection, a range of travel retail exclusive whiskies ranging from 12 years old to 30 years old. Long-time collaborator, David Carson, contributed to the project.
200 Years Young
The Macallan has certainly pulled out all of the stops to celebrate its bicentenary in 2024. High-profile, luxury and exclusive releases have so far included The Macallan Red Collection 72 Year Old, the latest Tales of The Macallan release, the Home Collection River Spey and Amber Meadow, and the long-awaited Macallan Horizon in collaboration with Bentley.
Well, there are four months left of 2024. What else will The Macallan do to celebrate its anniversary? Let us know what you think in the comments below.
