Penelope Bourbon has revealed its 2025 Estate Collection: a five-expression lineup featuring whiskeys aged 10 years or more, including a new French oak-finished bourbon and the brand’s oldest release to date at 13 years.
New Omega French Oak-Finished Whiskey Joins Lineup
The 2025 Estate Collection introduces Omega, an 11-year straight bourbon finished for an additional year in specialized Omega French oak barrels from Radoux Cooperage. Priced at $129.99, the expression uses Radoux’s Omega barrels, which employ OakScan technology to select staves based on precise chemical composition.
“We are excited to introduce Omega as part of the Estate Collection – we’ve been experimenting with these French Oak finishing casks, built by the Radoux Cooperage, which utilizes oak from the most prestigious French forests,” said Penelope Founder and Master Blender Danny Polise.
The Omega release features a mash bill of 78% corn, 10% rye, and 12% malted barley. Bottled at 109.8 proof, only 1,800 cases will be available starting in September. According to official tasting notes, the whiskey opens with vanilla, honey, toffee, and allspice, followed by brown sugar, dark fruit, leather, and cocoa on the palate.
Founders Reserve Returns as 13-Year Whiskey
The reimagined Founders Reserve is 13 years and bottled at cask strength of 121.4 proof. At $199.99 per bottle, the limited release of 3,700 cases maintains the same mash bill as Omega.
Official tasting notes describe aromas of rich caramel, vanilla, tobacco, and candied fruit. The palate features toasted nuts, graham cracker, sweet oak, butterscotch, and dark fruit, finishing with lingering spice and black pepper.

The 2024 Estate Collection earned multiple industry accolades, including platinum at the 2025 ASCOT Awards and gold at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Awards for Single Barrel. Private Select received gold at both the 2025 ASCOT Awards and SIP Awards.
Single Barrel and Private Select Whiskey Complete Collection
The collection includes two Single Barrel expressions, each aged 10 years but featuring different mash bills and proof points. The first, with 75% corn, 21% rye, and 4% malted barley, is bottled at 99 proof. The second contains 60% corn, 36% rye, and 4% malted barley at 103 proof. Both retail for $89.99.
Private Select, a 10-year blended bourbon at 106.8 proof, rounds out the collection at $79.99. The expression combines 74% corn, 20% rye, 1% wheat, and 5% malted barley. With 6,900 cases available, it represents the collection’s largest allocation.
Official tasting notes for Private Select mention aromas of caramel, cinnamon, and red fruits, with flavors of brown sugar, cherry, and baking spice. The finish features vanilla honey bun with oak spice and light smoke.
The entire 2025 Estate Collection launches in September at select retailers nationwide. Lux Row Distillers will offer exclusive first access to the complete collection starting Friday, September 5th, at 9 am EST.
Each expression in the collection carries a minimum 10-year age statement, marking a significant step in Penelope’s evolution as a premium bourbon producer.
