“Winning Distillery of the Year and earning over 50 prestigious awards in just 18 months is something we are incredibly proud of,” said Michael Henry, Master Blender at Loch Lomond Whiskies. “But whisky is meant to be shared, and our greatest achievement is seeing more people discover and enjoy our unique style.

“Golden Week is our way of sharing our success—one dram at a time. The best way to understand what makes Loch Lomond Whiskies special is to taste it, and we invite whisky lovers everywhere to join us in raising a glass to this moment.”

Loch Lomond Distillery

Founded in 1965, Loch Lomond Distillery has operated for more than six decades on the shores of Scotland’s famous loch. While maintaining its traditional foundations, the distillery has benefited from significant investment in both production innovation and global marketing efforts over the past decade.

These strategic investments have yielded impressive results. Loch Lomond Whiskies now ranks as the fastest-growing brand among the top 25 single malts globally for two of the past three years, according to IWSR data.

Additionally, Loch Lomond is renowned for producing both single malt and single grain whiskies, allowing the brand to cater to a wider range of palates.

Golden Week Celebration Plans

During Golden Week, the distillery will partner with retailers across more than 10 countries to offer exclusive promotions on its scotch whisky portfolio.

In the UK, prominent retailers including Master of Malt and The Whisky Exchange will participate in the promotion. The campaign will extend to markets throughout Europe including France, Germany, the Netherlands, Poland, Slovakia, and Hungary, as well as reaching China and the U.S. through independent retailers. Additional Golden Week activities are scheduled for Japan, Taiwan, and South Korea in the coming months.

Customers who purchase Loch Lomond Whiskies products during the promotion will receive an invitation to an exclusive virtual tasting event. Scheduled for April 9 at 7:15 p.m., the live-streamed session will feature Master Blender Michael Henry alongside whisky writer and IWSC judge Joel Harrison and podcast host Mitch Bechard.

“Winning Distillery of the Year and earning over 50 prestigious awards in just 18 months is something we are incredibly proud of. But whisky is meant to be shared, and our greatest achievement is seeing more people discover and enjoy our unique style,” said Michael Henry, Master Blender at Loch Lomond Whiskies.
