A pair of entrepreneurial women who successfully launched their own whiskey brand, Jackson McCrea Whiskey, are now offering to share their business secrets with aspiring spirits founders through a free masterclass.
Jackson McCrea Whiskey, led by co-founders Sheila Jackson and Natasha McCrea, will host the workshop ‘From Concept to Commerce – The Proven Spirits Industry Launch Blueprint’ on 5 April 2025. The self-described “unapologetic, woman-led whiskey brand” aims to demystify the complex process of bringing an alcohol product to market.
Jackson McCrea’s Masterclass
Attendees of the free, live masterclass will be taught practical strategies that will help them to break into the alcohol market, and build their own spirits brand.
“This is the guide we never had,” explains Jackson McCrea co-founder, Natasha McCrea. “We spent years figuring this out through trial and error. Now we’re sharing what we know, so others don’t have to do it the hard way.”
The free session promises to deliver practical insights across three core areas: brand development, production logistics, and launch strategy. Participants will learn about building a distinctive brand, navigating licensing requirements, sourcing and bottling considerations, startup budgeting, marketing fundamentals, common pitfalls, and maintaining entrepreneurial resilience.
With more than 40 years of combined entrepreneurial experience, Jackson and McCrea say they invested three years of intensive work before successfully launching their product.
“There was no manual, YouTube video, or class that encompassed the crucial details we needed to understand, to launch our brand. We’re changing that for those who come after us,” the Jackson McCrea team stated.
The masterclass serves as an introduction to a more comprehensive program – ‘The Spirits Business Accelerator’ – a three-day intensive scheduled for 8-10 June. Those attending the initial session will receive priority placement for the accelerator program.
Prospective participants can register for the free masterclass through the company’s website. The next masterclass will take place on April 5th, 2025, with additional dates to be announced.
