Heaven Hill Distillery has announced the release of its Heaven Hill Heritage Collection 22-Year-Old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey, the oldest expression in the annual series since it debuted in 2022. The ultra-premium bottling launched nationally in limited quantities in early March 2026 at a suggested retail price of $319.99.
The 2026 edition features Heaven Hill’s traditional bourbon mashbill of 78% corn, 10% rye and 12% malted barley. It is bottled at barrel proof and non-chill filtered.

A total of 270 barrels make up the release. The barrels were produced in February, July and August of 2003 and bottled in December 2025.
All barrels were aged on the fifth and sixth floors of Rickhouse Y at Heaven Hill’s Kentucky facilities. The distillery said the positioning allowed more than two decades of seasonal temperature variation to develop depth and character.
“This 22-year-old Kentucky Straight Bourbon Whiskey is a striking example of how thoughtful aging and careful barrel selection can unlock extraordinary character in our traditional Bourbon mashbill,” said Master Distiller Conor O’Driscoll.
“After more than two decades in Rickhouse Y, these barrels have developed a remarkable balance of oak influence and preserved sweetness,” O’Driscoll added. “It’s a testament to the patience and long-term vision that define the Heaven Hill Heritage Collection.”
Official tasting notes from the brand describe rich aromas of seasoned oak, dark caramel and toasted vanilla, giving way to notes of leather, warm cinnamon and subtle dried fruit on the palate. The finish is characterized as long and resonant, with lingering charred oak, toffee and peppery spice.
Each annual Heritage Collection release showcases one of six traditional American whiskey mashbills produced by Heaven Hill, which the distillery says makes it one of the only heritage producers to maintain this range. The collection sits alongside its innovation-focused counterpart, the Parker’s Heritage Collection.
The 750ml bottle is presented in a premium box in the signature Heaven Hill blue. Specific production details including warehouse location, production dates, mashbill percentages and barrel count are noted prominently on the packaging, reflecting the collection’s emphasis on transparency and provenance.
Founded in 1935 by the Shapira family in Kentucky, Heaven Hill maintains over 2 million barrels aging across more than 70 warehouses. The distillery has earned Distiller of the Year honors eight times in the past five years alone. Select international availability is also planned for the 22-year-old release.
