A coveted six-bottle vertical of Pappy Van Winkle whiskey headlines a charity raffle series that has already raised $157,000 for children’s advocacy services in rural Kentucky.

Give 270 Pappy Palooza Returns with Rare Bourbon Prizes

Elizabethtown-based nonprofit Give 270 has begun selling tickets for its third annual Pappy Palooza raffle, which will begin on October 1. The 12-week charity raffle runs through December 17 and benefits CASA of the Heartland, which advocates for abused and neglected children across five Kentucky counties.

The weekly Wednesday night raffles offer participants chances to win from 12 Pappy Van Winkle bottles hidden behind virtual locker doors. Prizes include two bottles each of Pappy Van Winkle’s Family Reserve aged 23, 20, and 15 years, along with Van Winkle Family Reserve Rye 13 year, Van Winkle Special Reserve 12 year, and Old Rip Van Winkle 10 year varieties.

Tickets cost $5 each with no purchase limit. Each ticket provides five weekly winning opportunities, including four bonus prizes: a Willet 8-Year Rye, two Luca Mariano Signature Bourbon bottles, and a Buffalo Trace Give 270 Sazerac Barrel Select.

Pappy Palooza Grand Prize Offers Complete Van Winkle Collection

All 60 weekly winners throughout the series become eligible for the grand prize drawing on December 17: a complete six-bottle vertical of Pappy Van Winkle bourbon. This collection represents one of the most sought-after whiskey prizes in the collector market.

“We at Give 270 are incredibly proud of the impact the Pappy Palooza series has made in support of CASA,” said Eric Clemens, Board Chair of Give 270. “The work they do to serve vulnerable children in our community is vital, and we’re hopeful this year’s series will bring an outstanding outcome.”

The previous two Pappy Palooza series raised $157,000 total for CASA of the Heartland. The organization uses these funds to recruit and train volunteer advocates who represent children’s interests in court proceedings across Hardin, LaRue, Grayson, Breckinridge, and Meade counties.

Live drawings take place at 8 p.m. Eastern on Give 270’s YouTube channel every Wednesday. Tickets remain available throughout the series at give270.org.
