Eden Mill’s latest single cask whisky release, commemorating their new visitor center opening on October 11th, sold out within 24 hours of launch. The 225-bottle limited edition marks the distillery’s third single cask to achieve same-day sellout status.

Eden Mill Celebrates Visitor Center with Limited Release

The cask strength bottling comes from a bourbon barrel filled in 2016, bottled at 60.5% ABV. According to official tasting notes, the whisky presents vanilla and toasted oak on the nose, with a warming honeyed character on the palate and a rich, spiced finish.

The rapid sellout demonstrates continued strong demand for the Scottish distillery’s single malt expressions. The special release was created specifically to mark the upcoming opening of their new distillery visitor center on the banks of the Eden Estuary.

Eden Mill Distillery Expansion Reflects Growing Success

Scott Ferguson, head distiller at Eden Mill, commented on the achievement: “We are incredibly proud and humbled by the overwhelming response to our most recent Single Cask expression. To see all 225 bottles sell out in less than a day is a testament to the quality of liquid we’re producing and the loyalty of our fans.

“It’s a special way to mark the upcoming opening of our new distillery visitor centre on October 11th,

and we are excited to welcome everyone to experience our new home on the banks of the Eden

Estuary.”

The new visitor center will offer whisky enthusiasts an opportunity to experience the distillery’s production process firsthand. This latest sellout success follows two previous single cask releases that also sold out within a day, establishing a pattern of high demand for Eden Mill’s limited releases.
