Dierks Bentley Row 94 Broken Branches Bourbon Launch

Country music star Dierks Bentley has unveiled a new limited-edition bourbon with only 1,500 bottles available worldwide. Row 94 Broken Branches, created in partnership with Lofted Custom Spirits at Kentucky’s historic Green River Distilling Co., features a unique “Branch Aging” process that adds fire-toasted oak staves to deepen the whiskey’s flavor profile.

Row 94 Broken Branches Uses Innovative Aging Technique

The five-year-aged bourbon undergoes an additional maturation process using oak staves seasoned for up to 24 months. According to Travis Cantrell, Director of Quality at Lofted Custom Spirits, “We used fire-toasted Oak staves that had been seasoned for 24 months for the ‘Branch Aging,’ lending additional nuance to the whiskey.”

Bottled at 100 proof, the bourbon features a mash bill of 70% Kentucky-grown corn, 21% rye, and 9% malted and row barley. The whiskey ages in new white oak barrels with a level 4 char. Official tasting notes describe the nose as offering vanilla, caramel, and stone fruit, with brown sugar and butterscotch hints. The palate delivers sweetness with leathery and nutty notes, while the finish presents cinnamon and smoke that transitions into subtle spice.

Green River Distilling Co., founded in 1885, ranks as Kentucky’s 10th oldest licensed distillery. The facility has produced numerous award-winning spirits throughout its 139-year history.

Limited Release Coincides with Album and Tour

The $99.99 (£79.99) bourbon launches in late June alongside Bentley’s 11th studio album, also titled Broken Branches, and accompanying 30-city U.S. tour. Interested buyers must register online for a chance to purchase one of the 1,500 bottles through the Row 94 website.

“The new album Broken Branches is all about the cracks and scars that make us who we are, and I wanted this bourbon to carry that same spirit,” says Bentley. The release follows the flagship Row 94 bourbon, which debuted in September 2024 at $39.99 per bottle.

The original Row 94 has earned recognition at major spirits competitions, including a Gold medal with 94 points at the 2025 San Francisco World Spirits Competition and a Gold medal with 92 points at the Denver International Spirits Competition.

Row 94 takes its name from 1994, the year Bentley moved to Nashville to pursue his music career, combined with a reference to Nashville’s Music Row. The brand’s thunderbird logo connects to Bentley’s 2014 album “Riser” and represents strength and everyday American values.
