Tennessee-based Company Distilling has named Cassie Halley as its new chief executive officer, following her work leading the company’s marketing and retail operations. Halley will guide the distillery as it continues to expand its distribution footprint across the United States.
Company Distilling was founded by a group of industry veterans, including former Jack Daniel’s master distiller Jeff Arnett.
Halley has a background in agency marketing, brand strategy, and hospitality leadership.
Before joining Company Distilling, she was the chief marketing officer and chief operating officer of Little Arrow Outdoor Resort in East Tennessee.
The appointment comes at a challenging moment for the US craft spirits sector, which has seen growth cool while consumer demand for transparency in sourcing and production has increased.
“Cassie brings a rare combination of operational discipline, creativity, and a genuine love for this industry,” said master distiller Jeff Arnett.
“She understands how to build a brand that lasts, and she leads with the kind of clarity and respect that brings out the best in people.”
Halley’s leadership will be crucial as the distillery grows its presence. The brand is expanding across Alabama, Colorado, Florida, Georgia, Missouri, Oklahoma, South Carolina, Tennessee, and Texas.
Company Distilling’s portfolio includes a straight Bourbon whiskey finished with maple wood and a Tennessee whiskey. The brand focuses on how spirits can serve as a foundation for community and connection, a philosophy that informs its visitor experiences and product development.
According to the American Craft Spirits Association, the craft sector is navigating new consumer expectations, with an emphasis on local authenticity and experiential offerings like distillery tours and tastings. Halley’s experience in the hospitality sector is seen as a key asset in addressing these market shifts.
Halley added: “Company Distilling was founded on the belief that great spirits bring people together.”
“I’m honored to help lead us into this next chapter and build on the foundation that’s already been laid.”
