Chattanooga Whiskey has announced the return of its annual Founder’s Anniversary Blend, set for release at the Chattanooga Whiskey Experimental Distillery on Friday, April 10, 2026. Curated by company founder Tim Piersant, the 14th Anniversary Blend combines three solera-finished whiskeys with a heightened emphasis on Tennessee-sourced ingredients.

READ THE STORYThis year’s limited release is priced at $59.99 for a 750ml bottle. It will be available on shelves in 16 select states in the weeks following the distillery launch, with limited quantities also available online at Seelbachs.com in late April.
The blend draws from three custom-charred oak solera barrels housed in the Riverfront Distillery’s Solera Room, each representing the brand’s past, present, and future. The 1816 solera contributes 31% of the blend, Barrel 91 accounts for 45%, and the Infinity Barrel makes up the remaining 24%.

For the first time, the 1816 solera includes a Chattanooga-distilled version of the original founding recipe. The Infinity Barrel now contains a wheat whiskey made with 100% Tennessee-grown wheat.
"This year’s Anniversary Blend is special to me because it focuses even more on Tennessee," said Tim Piersant, founder and CEO. "Together, these recipes give the blend a rich but approachable flavor profile that, unsurprisingly, reminds me of home."
To mark the fifth Founder’s Blend, ticket holders to the Founder’s Celebration can purchase a limited three-bottle Anniversary Blend Kit for $99.99. The kit includes a 375ml bottle from each solera barrel, along with blending charts and measuring vessels for building a custom blend at home.

"We wanted to commemorate it with something special — beyond just the whiskey itself," said Grant McCracken, founding distiller. "We developed a ‘Drink Like a Founder’ blending kit, which gives drinkers access to the very same whiskey and tools Tim uses to develop his blend. Official tasting notes from the brand describe the blend as offering maraschino cherry, honey graham cracker, cream cheese frosting, and spiced walnut.
The solera process ensures each annual release carries a unique flavor profile that can never be replicated. After each year’s blend is bottled, the distilling team refills the solera barrels with new recipes that marry together until the following year.
Chattanooga Whiskey, founded in 2011, helped change century-old Tennessee distilling laws and has since grown into one of the country’s most recognized craft producers. The distillery was recently named Craft Producer of the Year for 2026 by Whisky Magazine’s Icons of Whisky.
