Blue Note Bourbon Expands to Texas with Ben E. Keith Beverages

B.R. Distilling Company has selected Ben E. Keith Beverages as its distribution partner for Blue Note Bourbon in Texas. The Memphis-based distillery aims to expand the award-winning whiskey portfolio’s presence across the Lone Star State through the century-old beverage distributor.

“Ben E. Keith Beverages is widely regarded as a leader in beverage distribution,” said Chris Crosbie, President and CEO of B.R. Distilling Company. “Given Texas’s importance as a whiskey market, we are confident this partnership will significantly enhance awareness and visibility for Blue Note Bourbon throughout the Lone Star State.”

The partnership brings together one of Tennessee’s oldest distilleries with the seventh largest independent beer wholesaler in the United States.

“We are honored to be selected as the Texas distribution partner for Blue Note Bourbon,” said Flint Prewitt, Beverage Division President for Ben E. Keith Beverages. “Texas is one of the most dynamic and influential markets for whiskey, and we’re excited to introduce this exceptional brand to our customers.”

Blue Note’s portfolio includes four flagship expressions: Juke Joint ($34.99), Crossroads ($44.99), Uncut ($49.99), and Straight Rye Whiskey ($34.99).

The whiskey is distilled in partnership with Lofted Spirits, parent company of Green River Distilling Company, and aged north of downtown Memphis where the Mississippi and Wolf Rivers meet.

At the 2024 San Francisco World Spirits Competition, both Juke Joint and Crossroads received Platinum medals. This rare honor signifies that each expression has earned Double Gold medals for three consecutive years.

Founded in 2014, B.R. Distilling Company operates the oldest licensed distillery in Memphis. The company currently distributes across 24 U.S. states and Washington, D.C.

Ben E. Keith Company, established in 1906, operates 14 Sales & Distribution Centers throughout Texas. The company distributes import beers, craft beers, seltzers, spirits, wine products, and non-alcoholic beverages alongside its new whiskey portfolio addition.
