The Bourbon Brotherhood and Whisky Chicks hosted the eleventh annual Bourbon Mixer in Louisville on August 17th. Presented by AutoRenu and hosted at The Olmsted, the mixer featured an auction hosted by Legacy Home & Estate Services.

Now, The Bourbon Brotherhood is proud to announce that this year’s event raised $115,000 for the Coalition for the Homeless. Cumulatively, the Bourbon Mixer has now raised $750,000 for charity.

The Bourbon Mixer 2024

The theme for this year’s bourbon mixer was Bourbon Masquerade. Attendees enjoyed music, Cajun food, and bourbon tastings from both craft and legacy distillers.

Also included in the night were raffles for rare bottles of bourbon from Pappy Van Winkle and Blanton’s. J. Todd Whitchurch was the lucky winner of the Pappy raffle, whilst Ian van Lierop went home with some iconic Blanton’s bottles.

Additional awards were also given out during the course of the evening:
  • Top Fundraiser – Jim Beam
  • Bourbon Brotherhood Fan Favorite – Old Forester
  • Whisky Chicks Fan Favorite – Maker’s Mark
  • Best Dressed Winner – Jon Cecil and Lisa Burnett

Of course, the most important aspect of the evening was raising funds for the Coalition for the Homeless, a nonprofit organization seeking to end homelessness in Louisville.

Speaking about the evening’s success, the Executive Director of the Coalition for the Homeless, Natalie Harris, said: “We’re so grateful to everyone who contributed to the Bourbon Mixer. With homelessness on the rise, we need funding now more than ever. Thanks to our volunteers, donors, and sponsors, this event has now raised $750,000 over the past 11 years!”

The twelfth annual Bourbon Mixer will be hosted at The Olmsted on August 23rd, 2025.
