The blended scotch whisky brand Royal Salute has released a special edition Lunar New Year gift pack featuring artwork by Chinese illustrator Jason Lyon, showcasing a celebratory gun salute from the Tower of London.
The limited edition packaging wraps the brand’s signature 21-year-old blend in an artistic tribute that combines traditional Lunar New Year symbolism with Royal Salute’s British heritage. Lyon’s illustration depicts prosperity symbols and celebratory elements emerging from the historic Tower of London, which serves as Royal Salute’s symbolic home.

Royal Salute Lunar New Year Design
The artwork weaves together traditional Lunar New Year motifs including lanterns, phoenixes, and fireworks with landmarks significant to Royal Salute’s history. The Strathisla Distillery, the brand’s spiritual home in Scotland, features prominently in the design alongside blooming flowers and waterfalls representing new beginnings.

Inside the commemorative box, customers will find Royal Salute’s flagship 21 Year Old Signature Blend. This expression has maintained its original recipe since the brand’s creation in 1953 as a tribute to Queen Elizabeth II’s coronation.
The whisky itself showcases mature fruit characteristics complemented by subtle spice notes, reflecting its extended aging process. All components in the blend have been aged for a minimum of 21 years.
