Jack Daniel’s Barrel House 1 Bottled 1994 – Batch B001

Signed bottles add an extra touch of history for collectors, and this Jack Daniel’s Barrel House 1 First Batch release is no exception. It bears the signature of one of Tennessee whiskey’s greats—Lynchburg local Jimmy Bedford. Bedford joined Jack Daniel’s in 1968 and became Master Distiller 20 years later, in 1988. He held the position for another two decades, overseeing production growth while maintaining the whiskey’s quality and championing it worldwide. His contributions earned him a place in the Whisky Hall of Fame in 2007.We expect this bottle to sell for £1,000-1,500. Place your bids here

Dalmore 1926 50 Year Old – Bottled 1970s

Continuing the theme of history, this Dalmore whisky will mark its centenary next year. Distilled in 1926, it comes from a time when The Dalmore Distillery was between two closures. From 1917 to 1920, it was commandeered by the US Navy as US Base 17, producing mines for the Northern Barrage, which stretched between Orkney and Norway. The distillery was later closed again during World War II, this time by the RAF. Throughout these periods, the whisky inside this ceramic decanter matured in barrels, before being bottled at cask strength in the 1970s by Whyte & Mackay. The company, which acquired Dalmore in 1960, primarily sought to maintain a consistent stock for their blends. This bottle has been valued at approximately £15,000. Bid on this rare scotch whisky here.

Bowmore 22 Year Old The Gulls

Maybe it’s the marketer in me, but I love the graphics of the gulls swooping over the distillery. Released in the 1990s, this Bowmore 22 Year Old is inspired by a Scottish folk tale of love and loss. It tells the story of a captured Scottish warrior and the daughter of a Pictish king, who fled westward toward Islay to escape the bloody conflict between their families.Caught in a storm, their boat was wrecked on the shores of Loch Indaal, and they were never seen again. Soon after, a pair of white gulls were spotted soaring above the loch, refusing to settle on either the western or eastern shore—as if torn between the two. Legend has it that, to this day, their mournful cries echo across the loch, the haunting song of the lost lovers. Our valuation team expects this bottle to reach a hammer price of £400 – £600. You can place your bids here

Imperial 1991

A gem for collectors of closed distilleries, this Imperial was distilled in 1991, marking the distillery’s fourth reopening. It was later bottled by independent bottler Gordon & MacPhail in 2003—by which time Imperial had closed its doors for good. Known for its floral, cream soda-like character, this whisky is, rather sadly, becoming increasingly difficult to find. Our auction valuation team expects this bottle to be a steal at between £100 – £150. Don’t miss out, and place your bids here

Rosebank 1981 22 Year Old Rare Malts Selection

Receiving a solid 85 points from WhiskyFun, where it was described as “simple but flawless,” the Rosebank 1981 22 Year Old from Diageo’s Rare Malts series is a must-have for collectors. One of the later releases, it was bottled in 2004—just a year before the Rare Malts series was discontinued as Diageo shifted focus to their Special Releases. Our valuation team expects this bottle to reach £600-£800. You can bid on the Rosebank here.
