As mentioned above, James Bond’s preferred drink in the novels — written by Ian Fleming between 1952 and 1964 — was a dram of scotch whisky. This came to life on screen in Skyfall (2012) when the movie’s villain, Raoul Silva, taunts Bond over a bottle of Macallan 50-year-old, which he notes is” a particular favorite of yours [Bond’s], I understand.”
