Christmas in Ireland is a magical time. From Irish coffees to a Guinness in the pub on Christmas Eve, and a Christmas Day swim at Forty Foot, the festive season has so much to enjoy. It also, luckily for us, has some fantastic whiskeys. So if you are an Irish whiskey lover, bring some Irish cheer into your household this Christmas with an Irish whiskey advent calendar.

I have put together a list of three Irish whiskey advent calendars that will help you count down the days until Christmas, with a warming dram by the fire. Not an Irish whiskey fan? No problem. Check out these Bourbon & American Whiskey Advent Calendars. Not a whiskey fan at all? Check out these spirit advent calendars for people who don’t like whiskey

Without giving too much away, you can expect drams from brands such as Writers’ Tears, Waterford, Jameson, and Glendalough. There is a full contents list on the product page if you would like to know what you are letting yourself in for. Otherwise, leave it as a surprise!

BUY NOW: £66

This advent calendar contains more than just whiskey. From Jameson Irish Whiskey, this 12 Days of Christmas Advent Calendar gifts you four 50ml drams of Jameson whiskey as well as some Irish whiskey-themed gifts.

These gifts are (SPOILERS ALERT): A tasting glass, a bauble, printed Jameson socks, a deck of playing cards, copper whiskey measure, a lime press, a pair of coasters, and a bottle opener. The Jameson whiskey drams are four different expressions from the brand’s range. I won’t spoil them here, but if you would like to know which drams await you, click here

This calendar is great for anyone who would like a little something extra with their Irish whiskey drams. With 200ml of whiskey in total, the calendar strikes a nice balance between booze and stocking fillers.
