The House of Suntory, owner of iconic Japanese whisky brands including Yamazaki and Hibiki, has partnered with Singapore Changi Airport Group (CAG) and LOTTE DUTY FREE Singapore to open a new boutique in terminal 4.

The opening of this new retail space follows on from the earlier opening of a Suntory shop in terminal 3 earlier this year. This marked The House of Suntory’s first venture in the travel retail space within an international airport.

The House Of Suntory Shop-In-Shop

The House of Suntory Shop-In-Shop is designed to welcome travelers into the world of luxury spirits and high-quality Japanese craftsmanship. Featuring wide-screen displays that show the beauty of Japan’s seasons and dynamic lighting that spotlights Suntory products, it is hoped that travelers will be drawn to the boutique to begin their Suntory spirits journey.

On show will be the full range of whiskies from Yamazaki, Hakushu, and Hibiki. Additionally, the space will highlight Suntory’s evolving presence in the world of craft spirits with brands such as Ao, Toki, Roku Gin, and Haku Vodka

The experience will be elevated by the inclusion of a mobile Tasting Table, where visitors can sample a selection of Suntory products.

Evolving Travel Retail

The move comes as the focus on global travel retail moves up the agenda for whisky and spirit brands across the globe.

“Travel retail is a vital brand-building channel for the group,” said Suntory Global Spirits Managing Director Global Travel Retail Ashish Gandham. “I am delighted to further expand our presence at such a key airport location, in partnership with CAG and LOTTE DUTY FREE.
