Starward Australian Whisky, the multi-award-winning whisky brand from Melbourne, is set to expand its outreach with the help of premium spirits distributor, Speciality Brands.
Starting on September 2nd, 2024, Starward Whisky will be distributed across Specialty Brand’s world whisky range, in countries such as Japan, Canada, the USA, and Taiwan. The brand is particularly focused on enhancing its presence in the United Kingdom.

Starward Whisky was founded in Melbourne by David Vitale in 2007. The current core range includes:
- NOVA Single Malt Whisky, 41% ABV – A “fruit-forward” expression matured exclusively in red wine barrels.
- 100 PROOF, 50% ABV – A higher proof expression matured in American oak and Australian red wine barrels.
- SOLERA, 43% ABV – A favorite of Starward founder David Vitale, this expression is aged in Apera (Australian sherry) barrels.
- TWO-FOLD, 40% ABV, – A blend of wheat and single malt whisky married together and matured in red wine barrels.
- HER HONEYCOMB, 40% – A collaborative expression with Melbourne bar, HER. Two-Fold whisky is blended with local honey from Pure Peninsula Honey.
