Rock & Roll legend, Rod Stewart, is celebrating Father’s Day with his son, Liam, and a curated Wolfie’s Whisky cocktail: Wolfie’s Rockstar Martini.

The Wolfie’s Whisky brand was launched in 2023 as a collaboration between Stewart and business partner Duncan Frew. Wolfie’s is a celebration of Stewart’s early career in rock n’ roll, and his “more mischievous days”.

In celebration of Father’s Day this June 16th, Rod and Liam went behind the bar at Stewart’s country estate to create the Wolfie’s Rockstar Martini, encouraging Wolfie’s Whisky fans to gather the ingredients and shake up a storm with Dad.

A video, posted to Rod’s Instagram, shows Liam taking the reins and teaching his dad how to make the cocktail.

29-year-old Liam is Rod Stewart’s son from his previous marriage to Rachel Hunter. As well as celebrating Father’s Day with his dad, Liam has recently become a father himself; his wife Nicole Artukovich gave birth to the couple’s first son, Louis, in 2023.

As such, this Father’s Day is particularly special for the Stewarts. Rod said: “Family is incredibly precious, and I’m grateful that I get to spend as much time as I do with my kids between travel and touring. I try to bring us all together as much as I can. I’ve always loved Father’s Day – it’s a bit of an excuse to get everyone together, isn’t it? I always raise a toast to my dad Robert too, although this year we’ll be celebrating with a Wolfie’s Rockstar Martini, which will go down a treat with the rest of the family.”

June 16th also marks Rod’s anniversary with his wife Penny Lancaster. Rod will fly home to England to celebrate his wedding anniversary and Father’s Day following a concert in Berlin on June 15th, as part of his sold-out European tour.

About Wolfie’s Whisky

The Wolfie’s Whisky brand was established in June 2023. As well as celebrating Rod’s rock n’ roll lifestyle, the brand honors Stewart’s Scottish heritage (his father was a Scotsman) and his self-described ‘Cockney Scotsman’ persona.

This blended scotch whisky is crafted at the Loch Lomond Distillery, combining single malt and single grain (wheat) before maturing in American ex-bourbon casks. This nod to the USA reflects Stewart’s significant musical success there, with 16 top-ten singles.

Recently launched in the USA, Wolfie’s Whisky is available in California, Nevada, and Florida. Online purchases can be shipped to all US states except Alaska, Arkansas, Hawaii, Massachusetts, Michigan, Mississippi, South Dakota, Tennessee, and Utah.
