In a groundbreaking move, Pernod Ricard has introduced The Chuan, China’s first-ever prestige malt whisky. This marks a significant milestone as the company pioneers a new category in China’s beverage industry.

The Chuan Pure Malt Whisky is not only a representation of high-quality craftsmanship but also a celebration of Chinese culture. The name “Chuan” translates to “a layer upon layer,” embodying the complex and rich layers of flavors present in the whisky.

Pernod Ricard collaborated with Nude Brand Creation for the packaging design of The Chuan. The result is an elegant bottle that pays tribute to the natural beauty of Emeishan, where the distillery is locaed. The design incorporates elements reminiscent of the misty mountain ranges, bamboo forests, and flowing water of the region.

The release of The Chuan signifies Pernod Ricard’s vision to create a prestige malt whisky in China. This product launch represents a notable step in the company’s ongoing commitment to innovation and excellence.

The Chuan Pure Malt Whisky will be available in the market starting from the day of the announcement. Enthusiasts and connoisseurs can look forward to experiencing this unique, locally-produced malt whisky.
