Beyoncé & JAY-Z Celebrate The Launch of SirDavis Whisky In Paris

Beyoncé and husband, Jay-Z, have been spotted in Paris celebrating the launch of SirDavis Whisky.

Beyoncé and husband, Jay-Z, have been spotted in Paris celebrating the launch of SirDavis Whisky. The Cowboy Carter singer and 32-time Grammy winner hosted a luxurious dinner party, complete with bottles of SirDavis and curated whisky cocktails.

The singer shared a video on her Instagram page showing a summary of the event, showing famous faces such as Kelly Rowland and Lori Harvey enjoying SirDavis cocktails. In addition, Dr. Bill Lumsden, Head of Whisky Creation at Glenmorangie and Ardbeg, attended the event and gave guests a guided tasting of SirDavis. Lumsden was heavily involved in the creation of the whisky, having selected the mash bill.

Beyoncé’s SirDavis Whisky

SirDavis Whisky was launched in August of this year to great fanfare. The whisky is named for Beyoncé’s great-grandfather, Davis Hogue, who was a prominent moonshiner during Prohibition, leaving spirit inside hollowed-out trees for family and friends to enjoy.

Distilled from a 51% rye and 49% malted barley mash bill, the whisky was designed to emulate Beyoncé’s love of Japanese whisky, whilst making something distinctly American.

SirDavis Whisky retails for around $98 and is available from a wide variety of whisky retailers
